What’s a job as Junior Manager Accountancy like?

Building strong personal relationships with your clients and supervising junior & senior colleagues. In other words, creating impact and growing together! That’s what this job is all about. You support entrepreneurs in starting new companies, their financial administration, strategic management, and generational succession… in short, you are a trusted adviser for your clients. Flexibility is also key in this job, in planning as well as in the place you work: at home, at the office or at the client.

Some responsibilities we trust you with:

  • Assisting SMEs and international organisations in preparing year-end documents, annual accounts and tax returns, drawing up interim balance sheets, VAT returns, depreciation tables, etc.

  • Managing, planning and supervising junior employees’ activities

  • Taking an active role in guiding and advising clients

  • Keeping track of all the latest technologies to be able to ensure optimally efficient operations

  • ….

What do you bring to the table?

  • You have approximately 4 years of relevant work experience in accounting

  • You are IAB-certified or partway through your IAB internship

  • You are proficient in Dutch and/or French and English

  • Your eagerness to learn, motivation and positive attitude are notable

  • You have strong analytical and communication skills

  • You handle stress well, are responsible and able to work in team
