Alle ondernemingen krijgen, ongeacht hun schaalgrootte, te maken met immens veel interne en externe data. Dat brengt heel wat nieuwe uitdagingen met zich mee, maar cre\u00ebert ook kansen. Data vormen immers een hefboom om de activiteiten van de onderneming in goede banen te leiden. <em>\u201cDankzij \u2018Business Intelligence\u2019(BI)-oplossingen kunnen we de beschikbare data ontginnen en omzetten in bruikbare inzichten\u201d<\/em>, legt Philip Lodewyckx uit. <em>\u201cDie inzichten moeten directeurs, managers en medewerkers helpen om weloverwogen strategische en tactische zakelijke beslissingen te nemen.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Financi\u00eble gegevens worden in ondernemingen doorgaans in een gestructureerde vorm beschikbaar gesteld. Maar om weloverwogen strategische en tactische zakelijke beslissingen te nemen, is er meer nodig dan alleen financi\u00eble gegevens. De data moeten in zekere mate inzichtelijk worden gemaakt om de informatiebehoeften van de verschillende besluitvormers binnen een onderneming vast te stellen en de beschikbare gegevens te vertalen naar begrijpelijke beeldtaal. Een multidisciplinaire aanpak is dan ook cruciaal voor een succesvolle implementatie van een BI-oplossing.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-title title fusion-title-6 fusion-sep-none fusion-title-text fusion-title-size-three\" style=\"--awb-margin-top-small:0px;--awb-margin-right-small:0px;--awb-margin-bottom-small:20px;--awb-margin-left-small:0px;\"><h3 class=\"fusion-title-heading title-heading-left\">ERP-oplossingen<\/h3><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-6\" style=\"--awb-text-transform:none;\"><p>Philip Lodewyckx en zijn team stellen vast dat vooral bij groeibedrijven de operationele en financi\u00eble processen onvoldoende op elkaar zijn afgestemd. \u201cZe werken vanuit verschillende systemen, verrichten handelingen dubbel met het risico op fouten en kunnen de follow-up onvoldoende garanderen.\u201d In sommige gevallen kan een ERP-oplossing (Enterprise resource planning) een antwoord bieden.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-title title fusion-title-7 fusion-sep-none fusion-title-text fusion-title-size-three\" style=\"--awb-margin-top-small:0px;--awb-margin-right-small:0px;--awb-margin-bottom-small:20px;--awb-margin-left-small:0px;\"><h3 class=\"fusion-title-heading title-heading-left\">Wat is een ERP-oplossing?<\/h3><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-7\" style=\"--awb-text-transform:none;\"><p>ERP-oplossingen dekken alle nodige processen om een effici\u00ebnt beheer binnen je organisatie mogelijk te maken. Meestal vertrouwen ze hun boekhoudkundige processen toe aan hun lokale accountant zonder die processen (en de resultaten ervan) te koppelen aan de opvolging van de businessactiviteiten.<\/p>\n<p>Door hun activiteiten en hun administratieve processen te \u2018ontkoppelen\u2019, verliezen ze belangrijke cashdrains uit het oog, zoals onbruikbare voorraden, overmatige aankopen van bepaalde producten of slechte opvolging.
